Birth Certificate Attestation from Algerian Embassy or Algerian Consulate, New Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata could be completed as per the following process,

Firstly the Birth Certificate, which to be attested from Algerian Embassy or Consulate present in India, will be attested from the Regional Attestation Department (RAC), General Administrative Department (GAD) of the Respective State. Secondly the Birth Certificate will be attested from Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), New Delhi. Finally the Birth Certificate will be attested from Algerian Embassy or Algerian Consulate present in India.

It is not mandatory to attest the Birth Certificate from General Administrative Department (GAD), Regional Attestation Center (RAC) from the respective state prior to the Algerian Embassy or Algerian Consulate attestation as there are some another way of attestation is available and the process is described ad under.
